Assessment and scope
The project begins with the use, layout and site constraints. Finish selections, approvals and any separate trade work should be resolved before the placement date is treated as firm. A clear scope reduces changes once equipment is on site.
Removal and preparation
Where required, existing material is removed and the support conditions become visible. Excavation, grading, forms and specified reinforcement follow the project plan. Unexpected conditions or required inspections can change the sequence.
Placement and protection
Concrete delivery, placement, finishing and joint work need coordination with weather and access. After finishing, the surface must be protected according to the curing plan. This period is part of the project even if the crew is no longer actively working on site.
Return to use and review
Ask for separate instructions for pedestrians, furniture, cars and heavier vehicles. Review restoration, cleanup and care guidance before considering the project complete. An estimated schedule should include weather assumptions and the process for communicating changes.
